Will members get 2 assignments if assigned to 2 teams?

If I am assigning a course to multiple teams and someone is a member of more than one team, will they get assigned the course multiple times? For example, if the member is in a team for just managers and a team for their department, will they be assigned a course twice if I select the managers team and the department team?
