Hi @joshw ,
Thanks for reaching out to us! We support a maximum file size of 40MB for images, so feel free to upload the same large, high-quality photos you're used to seeing on iFixit.
Based on your question, it sounds like your image might not meet Dozuki's minimum file size requirements. Guide images in Dozuki have a minimum requirement of 800px by 600px. If you receive an error message specifying resolution, you're most likely encountering a conflict with our minimum resolution requirement. I'd recommend double-checking your images to confirm their resolution. If your images meet our minimum requirements and don't exceed 40MB, please reach out to our support team at support@dozuki.com. They'll be able to help with any technical issues on your Dozuki site.
To support the above, these are the high resolution images I found on an iPad 1 guide:

Thanks @ron,
I’ve looked into my issue more and it seems like my issue real issue is the DPI.
If I upload an image with a DPI greater than 72DPI then Dozuki will downscale the image to 72DPI.
Having a look at the iFixit images above and it looks like there DPI is 100. How can I enable the same?

I've looked into this further and it appears that the iFixit version of dozuki does not alter the DPI (tested with 174 DPI). The version of Dozuki I have downscales the DPI from 174 to 72.
