Document Conversion Process
The Dozuki Professional Services team can take your existing work instructions and other documentation and modify them to work in Dozuki, a process called Document Conversion.
Every project is different, so we always tailor our approach to your needs. That said, Document Conversion can be broadly summarized in five stages:
Document Gathering
Identify, collate, and present the documents to Professional Services that you want converted.
Document Review and Update
PS Conducts a review of the documents to estimate the time required, identify any potential obstacles, and determine our approach. We then collaborate with you to understand the needs and greater context of the project, and adjust accordingly.
Content Formatting
The "meat" of the Doc Conversion process. PS extracts the text and images from your content and reformats it to fit Dozuki according to your needs.
Review and Approval
After the converted documents pass our Quality Assurance phase, we hand the documentation back over to you for approval. For larger projects involving hundreds of documents, we typically do this in phases over the course of the project, instead of all at once at the end.
Post-Conversion Support
In many cases, documentation is only the first step to establishing a truly user-friendly knowledge base. To ensure your success with Dozuki, the Professional Services and Support teams can be your go-to resource for site management, document control, category structure, and more.
