Hi Ravi, I am glad you asked this, it's always beneficial to include parts and tools in your guides! This answer has two parts. Create an Item Page: You can create an Item Page by clicking the dropdown menu under your login, then clicking Create New Page -> Item Page (for more detail, click here). This page allows you to include a picture and detailed information, including a link to purchase the item. Reference the Item in a Guide: Once that page is created, it is hosted and available for use. Now when you create a guide, in the details tab, you will see options to Add Parts or Add Tools. Begin to type the new item's number and it will appear in the dropdown, then select it to append it to the document. This will show in the header material when someone views your guide. You can also take the URL and insert it into any step as a link (for more detail, click here).
Hi, Great question. Our site has an option for a primary language that goes deeper than a simple translation. It will affect the interface as well, effectively changing the native language of your site. This is a setting we need to setup for you, so if you contact myself (Chris@dozuki.com) or one of my associates at Dozuki, we can get your site working in the language you prefer!
Hi Tyson, Thank you for reaching out, this is an important issue for many Dozuki users! For those of you just tuning in, you can use an Item page to list information for a Part or a Tool on your site. The pages are identical, except that a Part is consumable during the process and a Tool lasts beyond the process. To create an Item page from scratch access your Dozuki site and click the dropdown menu by your name, then click Create a New Page. I also suggest looking into more information about item pages here. For your specific problem, we are currently upgrading our indexing system to update in real time, but until that upgrade is active the items might take some time to be available throughout your site after creating them. We are working hard on this feature and I look forward to the next update when it becomes active!
The duplicator tool is available in your user menu and it is simple to use. It seems like you are making use of the prerequisite tool, so the option to duplicate a guide with Inline Prerequisite Guides might prove useful later. Here is the link: How to Duplicate a Guide
Hi Brad, There are a couple of ways to do this, depending on your needs: You can utilize the container document's introduction to notify users which prerequisite guides are optional and which are mandatory. You can adjust the testing routine guide itself to say "optional" however you like. If you need to use the same testing routine guide as a mandatory prerequisite sometimes, and an optional prerequisite at other times, you can clone the guide and make one mandatory and one optional guide to use as you like. Please feel free to follow up, you obviously have specific applications in mind for Dozuki and I want to facilitate them. Best Regards, Chris Burkert
